Tad spends a lot of his time exploring streams and ponds, any quaint body of water to relax by and admire the scenery. It was in a little breakaway pond between the Tree and River of life that he came across a curious little creature. Mistaken at first for a lily-pad, this freshwater plant has been animated. This creature tends to be stationary, staying in place for its whole life in some cases. It’s a docile creature but still lives on a carnivorous diet, using its vine-like tendrils to draw in small fish, snails or other aquatic bugs. Sometimes it even sings in the water to lure in its prey through the vibrations. It also tends to be very social, as many of these creatures will stay clustered together and sing in unison in a sort of symphony. It thrives the best in direct sunlight which it soaks in through the petals on its head. Tad then safely collected several of these creatures which he had dubbed ‘Lilypals’ to cake fore and observe in his own homely pond. In caring for them he also found they bloom more vibrantly when stimulated with outside music, loving to sing along and dance with their tendrils in place.
