If he could ever take back one thing? It would be kidnapping the most annoying seeker he has ever met- well currently. Taff doesn’t want to think about anyone else being more of a menace than this laughing fool behind him
“I spooked ya?” Finn goes around the counter as if it mattered right before stuffing something into the tip jar.
“Right before I blabber off- I did in fact go to the hissing rifts and hand made and dyed your blanket. Just like you asked. So I will take that thank you”
Blind or not Taff knew there was some goofy smile on the other’s face and if he wasn’t so tired he’d be mildly impressed to know he went all that way to make an item he didn’t even want let alone need…? It was a joke but as he’s rests his head back into the neck pillow, the weight of the blanket, the comfort even… it was nice.
A scowl from on Taff face as he admitted defeat both mentally and physically. It was a good blanket. Not that he wants to feed into ego that was hidden in the other seeker “thanks soooooo much Finn” and with that another tip into the jar.
Usually this is where Finn talks about a lot of random things Taff could barely remember or didn’t care to but today was different- he continued to drop other gifts to his counter “Since last year you refused our invention. I thought I’d bring the party to you. I got tons of foods - well not that you care about it, umm some ugly sweaters, Christmas cards from Vardan and Pal- which you can eat or sell for the profits of Pal’s signature annnnd from me- peridotite. It’s a pretty dense rock so you shouldn’t be biting right through it so quickly. Oh and I had some left over fur so I made slippers to match your blanket- yup I think that’s it- oh wait Vardan has an outfit being sent your way. Feel free to wear, toss or uh whatever with it “ he then dumps what sounds like potions and dumplings into the jar
“For your employer Uh rocky? Wait Rick ugh wait I got it, dum rocko? “ he mumbles out more names before laughing it off amused with something or the other
“Right. Well if you’re really stuck here for the holidays hopefully this keeps you warm and less grouchy if only for a day” and suddenly silence returns. Without a proper goodbye as if Taff wanted one he was left bundled in his new and annoyingly cozy blanket
