Sahir frowned at the orbular… grape-creature she’d kicked haphazardly.
“Don’t you slabs ever know when to chill? Jeez” she watched as it slowly stood itself back up, sniffling to itself. “Come ON, we’ll go find Finch then, if you promise to stop crying,”
At the mention of its idol’s name, the slab immediately perked up, hightailing on its little leggies before jumping up into Sahir’s arms.
“WHAT? No, no no! You can walk yourself, you lazy critter!” she immediately dropped the poor slab, shaking her arms off in disgust. She flounced towards the direction of Finch and Torrent’s house, not pausing to check the slab was alright, let alone even following her.
“You can explain yourself to Finch and the others when we get there too, I’m not making any excuses for you.”
