Hi there, Evie and I will be painting and decorating some pinecones later. I try to make some time every day to work on a project with her. If you wanted to try crafting with pinecones yourself, you should start by brushing any dirt off them. After that, line a tray and bake the cones in the oven for a half hour on a low temperature. Drying them means the scales will fully open, and the sap melts as well, resulting in a beautiful glaze—and burnt fingers if you don’t let them cool down. Be careful not to leave the oven unattended either. Hope that helps!
